The Day Before...

...Hiringa Cross Country Day (17th May 2011).
1. What preparations will you make tonight for the "big" day?
2. Did the "lead-up" practices help you prepare you for this day? Why/Why not?
3. How are you feeling before this "major" event?

  1. 1=The preparations I'll make for the big day tonight is that I'll run tonight.

    2=Not really because I sometimes promise myself that I won't stop running on the practices but then, I stop.

    3=I was feeling a bit scared for this day to come.

    yes they did because I know what pace I need to go and how long the run is.

    excited and nervis.

  3. THE DAY BEFORE THE BIG DAY I.....

    1.I will gather all my stuff together
    example put my shoes in my bag get some shorts and top ready go for a little bit of a jog around

    2.The led-up practice helped me alot because it helped learn where to go and it got me a bit more fit

    3.I am feeling excited and I think I will do very well

  4. I would get my running shoes all ready and I will be practicing my training.

    I think my practices were good and really helped me with my fitness.


    I am feeling really confidant about myself and I'm happy that its almost over.

  5. 1.The preperations i will make are :I will get a drink bottle ready,Get my running shoes and my Lucky Socks.
    2.Yes the practises did help because the made me faster
    3.The feelings I have about the "big day" are Scared,Nervous and Excited

    2.The cross country practices help me to know that I can do it.
    3.I am feeling nervous and excited at the same time.

  8. 1)Get lots of sleep and pack my drink bottle.
    2)Yes they helped me because I used to be very bad at running and now i'm alot better.
    3)I'm feeling a bit nervous but at the same time excited.

  9. 1= For the preparations I will try my best to run for the night.

    2=Yes because all that time I tried my hardest to complete the practices, I need to prove that my running is good enough.

    3=I was scared for the big day but i had enough practices to do.

  10. 1. I will get my running shoes ready and get socks ready. Then I'll jog around the block.
    2.I think the led-up practices helped a lot. They were lots of fun and now I know my way around the course and how hard it is.
    3.I am really confident and excited because if I come 1st,2nd or 3rd I get an ipod touch

  12. 1.I will put my shoes in my bag, a spare pair of clothes incase I get incredibly muddy and a drink bottle.
    2.The practise did a lot because i used to get butterflies but not know.
    3.I am feeling excited and nervous.
